One-stop
service is offered in the Pudong New Area for
the purpose of further improving the investment environment and simplifying
the project examination-and-approval process. The agencies involved in
project examination and approval and the various services concerned are present
at the one-stop service center to provide investors with comprehensive
information and consultancy service on government policies, government
working procedures, matters relating to project examination and approval,
etc.. In the case of overseas-invested projects in non-restricted categories
with total investment under US$300 million and domestically-funded projects
in non-restricted categories whose examination and approval falls within the
authority of the Pudong New Area Administration, the government promises that
the examination-and-approval procedure will be completed in no more than ten
working days on condition that the policy requirements with regard to the
nature of the project, city planning control, environmental protection, etc.
are met. The time limit entails that the procedures must be considerably
simplified and work efficiency increased. |
